Another amazing offering between Rocket Jump & Playfight VFX. Zergs, Robots, Command Center lift offs, and a not so happy ending depending on who you’re asking. Directors Freddie Wong and Matt Arnold tasked us with creating the world of Starcraft into a setting outside of the videos games – where people could realistically exist within the universe of Starcraft.
We helped execute how a zerg rush could realistically take over a terrain – from set extensions to paint outs, hard body & soft body animation, crowd simulations, and the entire Playfight compositing skill set – we helped visually deliver a tale of the inevitable outcome of a zerg invasion on a single terran outpost.
