The premiere feature length web series for Rocket Jump, PLAYFIGHT was fortunate to get involved on the ground level with Freddie Wong and crew. VGHS is an action/comedy web series about best friends, first loves, and landing that perfect head shot. PLAYFIGHT developed many of the digital effects, show opens, intro graphics, psychedelic hallucinations, explosions, and mayhem throughout the series. We continue to stay involved in many of Rocket Jump's productions, and just like the rest of the world are ultra excited about a possible second season.
As a follow-up to guerilla financed viral hit “Find Makarov” set in the Call of Duty world, “Operation Kingfish” was shot over a period of 1 week and featured over 120 VFX shots produced by the playfight team. Everything from atmospheric smoke, background replacements, crowd duplication, explosions, and building destruction was handled in post over a period of 1 month, and then shown live at the COD conference in LA in front of 10,000 people and live streamed to over 3 million. The human cell, fundamental unit of life. An hour long fully CGI photoreal journey at a scale where no camera can venture. PLAYFIGHT was a key partner with INTELLIGENT CREATURES, handling several key battle sequence previsualizations and many fume and liquid sequences within the amazing nanoscopic cell interiors.
Garnering 1.4 million views in just a few weeks, a break-out swedish electronic band opted to elevate their music video "Beam Me Up" to have a cinematic feel. PLAYFIGHT worked closely with writer/director Peter Huang to develop a district-9 themed group of photoreal cazzette spaceships hovering over Toronto and Las Vegas. PLAYFIGHT created seamlessly photo real VFX for the first season of the Transporter television series, including a number of building explosions, CG car replications, dust and atmospherics, and paint-outs.

So because you have experience doing that sort of thing we think you should join or team! Playfight is trying to find up and coming, and or extremely experienced animators in the VFX world. - Ability to create true to physics animation of characters both human and alien and mores specifically large inanimate or animate objects indistinguishable from live-action. In other words, you need to be sick.
- Fast at animating Pre-viz of both principal actions of a sequence and strong understanding of Epic Camera movement. In other words, you need to be fast and awesome.
- Strong understanding of animation timing, acting and storytelling techniques -Went to film school, or watch a ton of movies!
